National Museum

As part of the National Museums of Thailand, the Bangkok National Museum houses loads of artifacts of Thai art and history. With its opening ceremony presided over by King Rama V in 1874, the original exhibition exposed remnants from the King Rama IV’s reign. Currently, the museum’s exhibits show the whole history of Thailand, beginning from the Neolithic era, together with more recent King Ramkhamhaeng’s Inscriptions, which is on the UNESCO’s list signifying its meaning to the world cultural heritage.
