The museum initially belonged to Prince Chumbhotpong Paripatra and his spouse till 1952. The museum displays groups of traditional Thai houses, hallways between them and an exhibition of art in the Marsi Gallery. It's an ideal place to visit when on a vacation in Thailand.

When translated into English, Suan Pakkad means Cabbage Patch; however, visitors can enjoy the most refined pieces of traditional Thai architecture in Bangkok. Among the museum buildings, the most impressive to many travelers seems to be the Lacquer Pavilion, with its foundation dating back to the mid-16th century.

Have a great vacation in Thailand and learn more about its historical background.
