The key element of Prasat Phra Wihan is Phra Maha Monthian, a rectangular building that was most likely
used by the king as he prepared himself for ritual ceremonies. At the far end of the cliff stands the Bhavalaya, where the Shiva linga, the symbol of Shiva and fertility of the land, is housed.
